Water and Sewer Rates
Water and sewer charges in the City of Fargo are billed on a monthly basis.
All bills are due on or before the 10th day after the date of billing.
The monthly statement customers receive will be based on the following rates:
Water rates
There is a minimum charge for the the first 2,000 gallons, based on your meter size. Most residential rates are based on 5/8" or 3/4" meter size.

In addition to the minimum charge,customers will pay an additional fee for amounts that exceed 2,000 gallons per month:

The City of Fargo may shut off water service to any customer more than 14 days delinquent in payment. A minimum $25 fee will be charged for restoring water service.
Sewer rates
Residential customers will pay a flat $19 fee per month. Commercial customers pay $2.05 per 1,000 gallons of water registered by a sewer service meter each month, with a minimum charge of $19 per month.
