45th Street South Reconstruction
The City of Fargo plans to reconstruct 45th Street S. from 26th Avenue to 52nd Avenue during the 2010 construction season. 45th Street north of 32nd Avenue will have a lane added onto it on each side, while the road south of 32nd Avenue will be fully reconstructed to a 6-lane roadway section.
This project will be in cooperation with the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). A Project Concept Report (PCR) has been completed and was approved by FHWA in early 2009. The PCR addressed reconstruction alternatives and associated impacts for the reconstruction of 45th Street.
