IB-19. Environmental Protection

Bidders are required to familiarize themselves with the latest regulations of the City of Fargo, State of North Dakota, or Federal government on pollution control. Such familiarization by the bidder will be presumed upon his submission of a proposal. The contractor shall employ construction methods and practices which protect the environment. Any contractor who violates these environmental regulations, whether it may be air, water, noise, or any other type of pollution, shall be required by the engineer to change his construction practices to prevent damage to the environment. A contractor who continues to violate environmental regulations after being given due notice by the engineer shall be subject to revocation of his contract or other appropriate legal action.
