Minutes of Annual Meeting, July 15, 2008
Present: Helen Levitt, Herb Snyder, Gale Chapman, Richard Zeck, Prakash Mathew, Suzanne Morrison
Staff: Tim Dirks, Eve Haaland, Beth Postema
Director’s Year to Date Report
Tim Dirks summarized the activities of the library in the first six months of 2008, including filling positions, building projects, policy review, and system upgrades. He also outlined goals for the rest of the year.
Election of Officers for 2008-2009
Helen Levitt declared that nominations were open for the office of board chair and nominated Herb Snyder for that office. Gale Chapman seconded the nomination. Suzanne Morrison nominated Richard Zeck for vice-chair; Herb Snyder seconded the nomination.
Helen Levitt declared the nominations closed and asked for a vote on the nominations for both offices as presented. All present voted in favor of the nominees.
The annual meeting adjourned at 5:25 p.m.
