Library design firms
The Fargo Public Library Building Committee selected the Image Group of Moorhead and MS&R of Minneapolis to design the new libraries.
The committee received 16 proposals. It placed expertise in library design as the most heavily weighted item in its list of criteria. This prompted every local architectural firm who applied to seek out a national library specialist firm to partner with in their proposal.
All six finalists who were interviewed for the library design project were local/national teams.
