Rental Rehab
The City of Fargo has allocated Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to operate a Rental Rehab program. The intent of this program is to create, through renovation, decent, safe, sanitary and affordable rental housing that is affordable to low- and moderate-income households.
The program is available for rental properties located in downtown Fargo. Interested property owners may apply for a 50% matching grant, up to $10,000 per housing unit, which can be used to complete work that addresses building code, weatherization and lead hazard control issues.
