Project Goals

The site will be transformed at the landscape scale to meet the community’s priorities while still effectively holding storm water. The goal is to honor the identity of the place and look forward to its potential future by responding to its current social structure, cultural history, natural history, and relationship to the Red River watershed. The process itself will produce strategies, methods, and creative resources for an ongoing public art program. The process of this design is a part of the art and the goal just as much as the final transformed space is.
