Officer David Boe

Officer Boe was chosen as employee of the month for his hard work and dedication during the 2009 Fargo Marathon and Fargo Air Sho.
Officer David Boe grew up in Fargo, ND where he graduated from South High School. He attended and graduated from Moorhead State University with a B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice. He started with the Fargo Police Department in July 1986.
When Officer Boe started with the Fargo Police Department, he worked several years on the night shift patrolling the streets throughout the City of Fargo. Officer Boe did a six month rotation with Investigations. He was an original member of the Red River Valley SWAT team. He has worked the Day shift. Officer Boe is a trainer in the Police Training Officer Program (PTO). He is an EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) instructor. In 2001, Officer Boe was an original member of the Traffic Safety Unit (TSU). Officer Boe is currently with the Traffic Safety Unit and driving motorcycle.
Officer Boe works with marathons, parades and other activities which impact traffic flow in the City of Fargo. He has helped to develop the Fargo Marathon traffic plans for the last five years. He has helped develop the Fargo Air Show traffic plans for the last two shows.
Officer Boe enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys riding motorcycle off duty and enjoys watching his children as they participate in sporting activities. He is their number one fan.
