Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Liaison Officer
The Fargo Police Department has developed a position within the police department to act as a liaison officer to the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgender (GLBT) community. Lieutenant Greg Lemke and Officer Jesseca White serve as the department's GLBT liaison officers.
Lieutenant Lemke and Officer White work to improve relationships between the GLBT community and the Fargo Police Department. They collaborates with community leaders and residents to design and implement public safety and outreach programs and projects to establish a closer, more effective dialogue between the Fargo Police Department and the GLBT community. The community is empowered to become part of the problem-solving process.
