Cell phones, batteries and accessories
The City of Fargo works with Call2Recycle to collect cellular phones and batteries for recycling. Any cellular phone and cellular phone rechargeable batteries are accepted in the Call2Recycle program. Any size, make, model, age of phone, digital or analog, with or without battery or charger will be accepted. However, household cordless phones, mobile installed or bag phones, two-way radios, walkie-talkies, and pagers cannot be included for recycling.

Adopt-A-Pet of Fargo-Moorhead collects used cell phones as a fundraiser. You can drop off your used phone in the Adopt-A-Pet donation bin at Petco, 1126 43rd St. S., Fargo.
GreenCell Recycling collects working and non-working cell phones to be recycled and help local charities/organizations. For more information visit www.gcellrecycling.com or call 218-289-1940.
Cellular phones (working condition or not) are also accepted by the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center of Fargo-Moorhead (RACC). Working phones are programmed to dial 911 and are used by victims of abuse. Phones that no longer work are recycled as a fundraiser for RACC. If you are interested in donating your old cell phones or would like to hold a drive for phones at your place of business, contact RACC at 701-293-7273 or drop the phones off at 317 N. 8th. St. in Fargo.
The Arc Attic Treasures, a retail store which raises money for people with developmental disabilities, also accepts cell phones. Drop them off at at the store's south Fargo location: 3201 43rd St. S.
