How to Apply

If you are interested in investing in a Renaissance Zone property, you can:

• Review the plan to see how and if your project might fit in the Renaissance Zone.
• Contact Jim Gilmour at 241-1476 or jgilmour@cityoffargo.com or Nicole Crutchfield at 297-7782 or ncrutchfield@cityoffargo.com or Mike Hahn with the Downtown Community Partnership to get more information.
• Fill out a project application form. The Fargo Renaissance Zone Application is available online as a Microsoft Word document and as a PDF file. It is also available from the Planning Department in City Hall.

Once a project proposal has been submitted, the Planning Department will direct the application through the appropriate city committees, with final review of the project being made by the Renaissance Zone Authority and the City Commission.  All locally approved projects are then submitted to the State Division of Community Services.
