Elections and voting

The next City of Fargo election will be held Tuesday, June 10. Many Fargo residents will need to use new voting locations. You can verify where to vote by visiting the Secretary of State's Web site or calling the Cass County Auditor's Office at 241-5600.

To participate in a City of Fargo election, you must be a city resident for at least 30 days prior to the election. You must also be at least 18 years old, a North Dakota resident and a citizen of the United States.

There is no formal voter registration process in North Dakota. To vote, simply go to your designated precinct and present an accepted form of identification.

Elections in Fargo are administered by the Cass County Auditor's Office. This office provides a variety of election information on its Web site, including information on absentee voting. You can also obtain information by calling the Cass County Auditor's office at (701) 241-5601 or sending an e-mail to auditor@co.cass.nd.us.
