Unacceptable items

Items we cannot accept for listing

Unfortunately, not all items can be accepted for exchange on this site. Unacceptable items include:

• Safety items: bike helmets, car seats, etc.
• Animals or pets
• Weapons
• Household hazardous waste products: paint, bulbs, etc.
  • Fargo residents, call (701) 281-8915 for information on appropriate disposal of these items.
  • Clay County residents, call (218) 299-5077 for information on appropriate disposal of these items.

Other Items: Any other items that the Freebee Site Committee or coordinator deem inappropriate will not be listed. 

Freebee is not responsible for the transportation or storage of any items.

Please contact the site coordinator when you have had a successful "exchange" so your item can be removed from our listings and we can add your items to the total count of things kept out of the landfill. So far, more than 14 tons of material has been kept out!
