Curbside Brush Recycling Program

This program is intended to reduce the amount of tree debris going into our landfill and to provide the city with a usable product. 

This service begins during Cleanup Week and ends the last full week of October. During this time frame, boulevard brush chipping service is provided on a weekly basis and coincides with your garbage pickup day.   

Please keep these tips in mind:

  1. Brush / logs up to 10" diameter will be picked up.
  2. Separate brush from logs. 
  3. Brush must be placed on the boulevard.
  4. Stumps and roots will not be collected. Homeowners can haul stumps, roots or oversized logs to the landfill at no charge. The landfill requires proof of Fargo residency.
  5. Do not put brush in garbage cans, boxes or bags.
  6. Large piles (greater than 8' long x 8' wide x 4' tall) will require the log loader at a rate of $120 per hour. 

This program is not intended to subsidize private tree service work.
