Adult Home Visits
Home visits from a registered nurse are available to residents of Cass County though the Adult Health Maintenance Program. These visits can be as frequent as one time per week or as infrequent as every two months. One of the goals of this program is to provide services that will assist individuals in remaining safely in their own homes for as long as possible.
RN services may include
- assessment of the individual's physical and mental health status.
- assessment of the safety of the home environment.
- medication set-up and monitoring.
- health education and support
The recommended donation for these services is based on your income, and some clients are able to receive assistance from Cass County Social Services. Medicaid (MA) will be billed for nursing home visits. We do not bill Medicare or other private health insurances.
Fargo Cass Public Health is not a Medicare-certified home health care agency.
