Dakota Medical Foundation Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Initiative
Since 2000, Dakota Medical Foundation has funded and supported the local AED Initiative, a grant program that had been administered through Fargo Cass Public Health. Throughout its lifetime, the AED Initiative placed more than 500 defibrillators through the Dakota Medical Foundation service area and encouraged training and certification for both CPR and AED use. The AED Initiative came to a close in November 2012.
The below documents provide information and resources for agencies and organizations that had previously received an AED through this grant program. Please note the Operator’s Checklist is no longer required documentation. Rather, it is provided as a resource for ensuring AEDs are properly maintained.
