Tobacco Education Program-What is it?
Per City of Fargo ordinance 10-0103, possession of tobacco products by minors is prohibited. In the event a minor is cited for possession of tobacco products, they will be referred to Fargo Cass Public Health for completion of the Tobacco Education Program. This is a one-hour tobacco education and cessation program required by City of Fargo ordinance 10-0103. The cost for the program is $25. This fee is in addition to the citation fee of $25, which is issued by the Fargo Police Department.
