Online payment center
The City of Fargo now accepts online payments for parking tickets and utility bills. This online payment system is administered by Official Payments Corporation.
The online payment system accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards. Official Payments Corporation charges a convenience fee for online payments. This fee is $2.95 for parking ticket payments and $3 for utility bills.
Payment limits
The largest utility bill payment you can make online is $150. If your bill is more than this amount, you have the option of making two online payments. You can also pay your bill by calling the City of Fargo Water Department at 241-1324, or paying in person at the payment window on the second floor of Fargo City Hall (200 3rd St. N.).
The largest parking ticket than can be paid online is $50. You can also pay your bill by calling the City of Fargo Auditor's Office at 241-1300, or paying in person at the payment window on the second floor of Fargo City Hall (200 3rd St. N.).
Payment confirmation
If you enter your e-mail address at the time of your payment, you will receive an electronic confirmation that your payment was received.
Your credit card statement
When you receive your credit card statement, you will see two charges for your online payment. The convenience fee charge will be listed as "Official Payments Corp." The fee for your utility bill of parking ticket will be listed as "City of Fargo."
